I’ve been thinking, I don’t know if people realize how much of a miracle is happening in front of their eyes. Our Church is in desperate need of added land, and we all know land in Chinatown can very expensive. I went along with the Cannan project team-several years ago- when they were looking for a new site in the Chinatown area and learned how hard it is to find space and have the funds to purchase it.
Right now, the timing is right that we can possibly gain some extra space and see the impossible possible. I heard in the past (like over 15-20 years ago) it would be next to impossible to get that lightwell space, and well who knows about the future! But the timing seems pretty good now.
That’s just my insomniac thought for tonight/morning (at 2:40am)
I also just finish writing a response to a member of OCM about some of his/her concerns. It was about 2 pages long. Hopefully we can continue in dialogue and move this project forward.
Finally I am tired and ready to sleep.
